AUNU was born from a search for something that didn’t yet exist. Founder Jennifer Krouse grew up between Korea and Japan, where Mānuka honey and holistic approaches to health were part of daily life long before they became beauty trends. Years later, after having two children, her skin changed in ways she had never experienced—melasma, eczema, dryness, and persistent reactivity. Looking for skincare that was both safe and truly effective, she was surprised by how difficult it was to find.

That search ultimately led her to Medihoney®, the medical-grade Mānuka honey trusted in hospitals worldwide for burn and wound care. Recognizing its potential for compromised and sensitive skin, Jenn secured an exclusive partnership to bring Medihoney® into cosmetic skincare and built AUNU around it. Since launching in October 2025, AUNU has helped hundreds of people care for sensitive and compromised skin and has quickly gained recognition across the beauty industry, earning 13 beauty awards to date.
